REVIEW
Analyse before making changes
UX, information architecture, content and key user flows are reviewed to identify friction and what no longer supports the project’s goals.
REDESIGN
I review structure, content, user flows and interface to understand what no longer works and redesign only what is needed.

THE STARTING POINT
A website can remain online while only doing part of its job. Confusing navigation, disorganised content, unclear hierarchy or dated interfaces can make the experience harder without necessarily requiring a complete rebuild.
Redesign starts with what is already there: I review issues, constraints and strengths to decide where to intervene and in what order.
REVIEW
UX, information architecture, content and key user flows are reviewed to identify friction and what no longer supports the project’s goals.
PRIORITIES
Not every issue has the same impact. Changes are prioritised by usefulness, urgency and fit with the project, avoiding purely cosmetic updates.
REDESIGN
A review and redesign process that starts with the existing website and defines what to keep, improve or rethink.
Illustrative examples of issues a review may uncover, not findings from a specific client audit.
| ISSUE | IMPACT | PRIORITY | INTERVENTION |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unclear navigation | Content is difficult to find | High | IA and navigation review |
| Weak hierarchy | Reduced scanning and comprehension | High | Content hierarchy + UI redesign |
| Fragmented user flow | Unintuitive journeys | Medium | Flow review + simplification |
| Inconsistent interface | Disjointed experience | Medium | UI system + component consistency |
| Weak responsive behaviour | Compromised mobile use | High | Responsive redesign |
| Technical issues | Reduced performance or accessibility | To assess | Technical review |

THE OUTCOME
SERVICE SCOPE
TECHNICAL FOUNDATION
Redesign can focus on structure and interface or extend to development, depending on the current state of the project and the quality of its technical foundation.
Before changing technology, I assess whether the existing setup can be kept, improved or needs a deeper review.
HOW I WORK
Existing website, issues, goals and constraints.
Defining the changes that are actually needed.
Structure, UX/UI and responsive behaviour.
Delivery of the redesign or development, when included in the project.
FAQ
Not necessarily. Redesign starts with what already exists to understand what to keep, improve or rethink.
No. It can involve structure, information architecture, user flows, hierarchy, UX/UI, responsive behaviour and technical priorities.
That depends on the agreed scope. Redesign can be delivered as a design project or followed by frontend development.
Yes, when the technical foundation is suitable. It is assessed before deciding whether to keep, improve or replace it.
Key accessibility issues can be considered during redesign. A full Accessibility Audit has its own dedicated scope.
Technical implications of structure, semantics and performance are considered. Editorial SEO and content strategy are not included.
It depends on website size, depth of review, number of templates and whether development follows.

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR PROJECT
We can start with what already exists and identify changes that can improve its structure, experience and usability. The scope and quote depend on your goals, required features and the project’s complexity.
